Of course Nash is a huge part of the Blue Jackets and the Jackets are playing amazing hockey right now. It has long been rumoured that Nash harbors a desire to be a Leaf. Nash still has a year left on his deal as well. Nothing is imminent.
This source is just too good of a source to not mention this rumor albeit not possible till the summer. The source also told me that the deal would include some “serious talent” heading back to the Jackets in return. In fact, he went as far to say that the deal would be “great for both sides, maybe even better for Columbus if one of the players pans out.” [link]
