With Doug Weight out for six weeks one source has informed me that the Oilers may be reaching into their past for veteran leadership to the OTHER Islanders Amerian star, Billy Guerin
Two teams that have interest in Nylander, Atlanta and Florida, are in division, but Ottawa I am told, as well as Edmonton could be making a push this afternoon. [link]
At one point this would have seen as unlikely as almost any pairing given these teams history in the playoffs, but a source is telling me this morning that the Sabres have interest, while another source tells me the Oilers, who have courted Wade for years, are also very much in the mix…I will keep up with this one today.
