We started this site asking ourselves “Is Eklund a Fraud?” after seeing so many negative posts and articles about his conduct over at Hockeybuzz.com. The idea was to do a study for 1 year (starting Jan 2008) and track all of his activities (especially rumors) that are often questioned by so many people.

We of course went past our planned deadline, but now it has come to a point where really nothing else needs to be added simply because Eklunds activities have already clearly answered our question, and that is 100% YES.

Of course the whole Pittsburgh thing was a sham.  Notice how he says he has talked with the Mayor and a congressman but never posted what the conversation was about.

Notice how he said he talked to NBC but never posted the results.

Notice how he keeps saying, it looks good, could happen and now says it could happen Friday.

It is all about getting hits!!!

The thing I'm most interested in is how much earlier he reported the rumor before a credible source, and how long before the trade actually happened?

The few I've seen that he brags about getting right were merely minutes (if that)before a credible source reported it, and they seemed to happen the day of, usually only hours or minutes before the trade happened.

Which leads me to believe his sources are merely leeches (co-op student at TSN, or something like that) that pass on the information to him before a credible site is able to post their information because they actually have an editing/publishing process to adhere to.

We have it wrong. Dwayne is an actor paid by Avery to take the heat for the crap that Avery actually blogs about. 

Why else would someone keep going on about Phaneuf rumors that don't exist.  Why would the flames even trade him, if it was not a secret plot by Avery make his life miserable by proxy.

This site is done? Really? Come on guys! WE can all donate to your cause. Before this site, I used to read dumbass' blogs and hope that the trade would happen and belive that it would!

Now he is just making up stories without working out if they make sense.  He writes about some Ranger fan that has been to every game 7 the past 15 years, that he flew to every one except the one his team was involved in.

So this idiot flew to Jersey to watch the Devils/Ducks game 7 in 2003?  I doubt it, it is just Eklund making crap up without any regard for common sense, like only 6 miles seperating MSG from Continental Arena.  Although I'm sure he thinks that the 2003 game 7 happened at the Pond or the Prudential Center.

Thats exactly what everyone nees to do.  While the 16 month “study” is over, you can all start threads in this forum pointing out Eklunds lies and BS.

We will be putting “latest forum posts” on the main page so it shows up right when you come to the site, this should be done in the next week.

Keep up the good work exposing this fraud, as he cleary has a lot of people fooled. Anybody that defends Gary Bettman is cleary learning disabled. BTW love the Rumor Generator!
